About The Team

I have supported pregnant women and new moms as a professional Doula since December of 2020. My professional career began in 2012 as a Critical Care Nurse working with every population group. Those almost 10 years of experience have created in me a passion for serving others in need, educating on evidenced-based practice and advocating for my clients. I cannot express how much being a nurse has changed me for the better. God has shown me how very impactful authentic support can be to someone in need. Transitioning to doula care, education and support was probably the easiest decision for me. I fell in love with the labor process with my second child and knew firsthand the difference education, support and confidence could make. Based in Lynchburg, I provide moms with the emotional and physical support they need in order to have a gentle birthing experience.

With Lynchburg Doula Services you can rest assured that I will give you my very best and work tirelessly for you and your growing family. I approach birth holistically, and I feel honored to be able to share years of expertise with women and their families in and around Lynchburg, VA. Simply get in touch to get started.

My name is Havilah Pittman

Hello! I am the owner of Lynchburg Doula Services, which was started back in December of 2020 after completing training locally and through the International Doula Institute.  I am a Certified Childbirth and Postpartum Doula, but I also have a background in critical care nursing. As a doula I strive to provide authentic and professional support to mothers and families during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum phase.

I knew I wanted to become a doula after my second baby. Getting to experience birth in an empowering, peaceful way opened the door to the birth community for me.  Empowering women to see birth as a beautiful and natural process while helping them achieve their pregnancy goals is truly a passion of mine. I love the pregnancy and labor process and am amazed at how incredibly strong and beautiful women are during this phase of life. I am married to a wonderful man, and am a mother to two adorable little girls. Being a mom and having gone through labor two times has also opened my eyes beyond just the science behind pregnancy and birth. It has given me an understanding and compassion for moms entering this exciting and demanding phase of life.

A mother who feels loved, cherished and supported is how every mother should feel. I pray I can be that for you and your family!

My name is Aimee Lehman

Hello, friends! My name is Aimee. I am a certified Labor Doula, and a Certified Infant and Postpartum Care Doula. I live in Lynchburg with my husband and our three kids. Each stage of motherhood has its gifts and challenges, and I am truly grateful for the journey thus far. Currently my family and I are loving all things Lego, family game nights, and family pool days, especially now that all three kiddos can swim!

I knew I wanted to be a Doula shortly after my first baby was born. It took a few years of adjusting to new motherhood for that dream to become a reality, but I finished my training in 2019. My desire is to come alongside both new and experienced mothers and help them to see themselves as strong, smart, and capable of so much and to help them during the season of adding a new life to their families. I also believe that understanding the basic phases of labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery can help alleviate fears and give each family excitement and confidence as they begin this journey. I am so grateful to do this work and would consider it a great honor to be a part of your birth support team!
